Matthew Fleeger Spends over $7 Million Renovating an 11000 Square Foot Property

GCWA new remodeled mountain-style wood and stone house in Vail is getting to the market with a price worth $32million. The house is one of the most expensive houses in Vail, Colo. It is a six-bedroom house located near Vail Golf club and lies on an 11000 square foot piece of land. The property’s bedrooms and living places have fireplaces. It has ceiling to floor windows with trace views, outdoor dinings and lounge areas, and a bar, not forgetting elaborate marble match bathrooms.

Matthew Fleeger Gulf Coast Western, the owner and the Chief Executive Officer of Dallas-based gas and Oil Company, says he bought the property last year, and it was worth $17 million. He is currently renovating the property, and it is almost complete. Matthew says he has spent an average of $7 million renovating the property.

By the time Matthew Fleeger Gulf Coast Western and his wife Candee Fleeger bought the house, he says it was almost four years old with a traditional style that fascinated them. The property also had small windows that did not take advantage of the available Mountain View. Fleeger says by looking at the house; they were stunned by the poor work done to it. Constructors only took advantage of the money they got while constructing the property.

After purchasing the house, Matthew Fleeger said they set architects loose and started again. One of the significant renovations they did to the house is opening an entire wall and mounting ceiling to floor window that opens up to the beautiful mountain scenery. They also renovated the master bedroom, kitchen, added a pool, and constructed an outdoor patio.

The question of why he is selling the property is that he is more addicted to home renovation than settling in one destination. According to Mathew, the house is their eighth renovation project, and currently, they are working on another renovation project in Aspen.
