Private Equity Investor Mark Hauser Named Partner at Private Wealth Manager
Mark Hauser, an experienced private equity investor and advisor to numerous family offices and nonprofits, has been named Partner at Private Wealth Manager. Mark Hauser is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and will be leading the company’s efforts in developing new strategies for financial advisors. Mark brings with him over 30 years of experience as an advisor to high-net-worth clients. Hauser’s work has been featured in leading financial publications such as The New York Times, Institutional Investor, Financial News Network and the Wall Street Journal. Mark says that he is “delighted” to join Private Wealth Manager at this time of growth. Mark currently manages approximately $600 million for high-net-worth clients, including many members of families with significant lineage wealth who are thinking about how best to preserve their assets through generations. He will remain President of The Mark Hauser Company during his transition into the new role. Mark also serves on several nonprofit boards focusing on education policy reform efforts across various states nationwide, including programs working with Teach For America, Policy Innovators, Education Pioneers and Public Impact, among others.
Mark earned his Master’s degree in Education Policy from Harvard University before receiving a Bachelor of Arts at Vanderbilt University. Mark also holds the FINRA Series 63 and Series 66 securities licenses, is an Investment Adviser Representative with Edelman Financial Services LLC and has been registered since 1993. Mark says that he looks forward to “working closely together on innovative ways to help [Private Wealth Manager] clients achieve their financial goals.”
