Judge Judy is an American-based reality show that airs small court cases in a real courtroom setup. The program produced by Amazon studies has aired for over 25 years with its producer Randy Douthit. The show has aired for 12 consecutive seasons which ended in September 2021. Randy Douthit took it up as the executive producer and director and rebranded it to Judy Justice. Judy Justice is the first of its kind reality courtroom series that is aired on IMDb TV.
Randy Douthit was born in 1949 in the town of Newberg. He pursued both his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Portland State University and his Master’s degree in Psychology. During his time doing his master’s, he gained interest in the filming industry. He began his career in 1970 at King Broadcasting Company in Seattle as the producer. He worked there for 8 years and moved on to pursue greater ventures as a producer for the ABC network. He has worked for other great companies in the film industry including Warner Brothers and Quincy Jones Enterprises.

He worked as the executive producer for the famous Larry King Live and Crossfire show on the CNN network. His work is also seen on the Seattle Today, which he turned around from a failing show to one with good ratings.
His work has been praised for being outstanding. This has enabled him to receive various awards including six Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards.
